Arcgis License Manager Prerelease Version

It is not supported to upgrade from prior versions of ArcGIS Enterprise to the 10.8 prerelease. It is not supported to upgrade from the ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8 prerelease to the final version of 10.8 or any other future versions. Install the prerelease on a new system that you plan to decommission after testing. NIM003128 – The ArcGIS License Manager for Windows is now supported without hardware keys. NIM006141 – The ArcGIS License Manager is now supported on RedHat and SUSE LINUX. NIM000652 – The license manager is losing its connection with the USB key when a laptop goes to sleep, resulting in the failure of the license manager when the laptop. The license server can be a Windows or Linux server and will manage Windows and Linux ArcGIS software products. For example, a Windows installation of any version 10.0 to 10.8 ArcGIS Desktop product can obtain a license from a Windows or Linux version 2020.0 ArcGIS License Manager. The ArcGIS Desktop and Engine 10.7 setup packages are designed to detect and upgrade an existing installation of the same ArcGIS product. The settings for the installation location, License Manager (for Concurrent Use), or authorization information (for Single Use) are retained during the upgrade.
ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7 upgrades are not supported at 10.7 Prerelease. To see the new capabilities of ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7 Prerelease, it is required to do a new installation. Upgrades from previous versions to the 10.7 Prerelease are not supported. Upgrades from the Prerelease version to the final released version are not supported. The final release will support upgrades as usual.
If ArcGIS 10.7 will be installed on a machine that is different from where a previous ArcGIS 10.x product is currently installed and you wish to use the existing ArcGIS 10.1—10.6.1 authorization number for ArcGIS 10.7, the earlier version of an ArcGIS 10.x product must first be deauthorized before authorizing ArcGIS 10.7.
Arcgis License Manager Prerelease Version Windows 10
The copy protection mechanism for the Prerelease version of ArcGIS Desktop 10.7 and ArcGIS Engine 10.7 Concurrent Use requires that ArcGIS License Manager 2018.1 be installed to support these products. Existing ArcGIS 10.1—10.6.1 authorization numbers will work with ArcGIS Desktop and Engine 10.7. Existing ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6–10.6.1 authorization numbers will not work with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7. You must obtain a 10.7 authorization number which will also work with the final release of ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.
