Cemu For Mac
- Cemu has come a long way in terms of performance over the years. The latest version which was released recently is Cemu 1.12.0. This version has many performance improvements and is the most stable version yet. This guide will show you how to setup Cemu 1.12.0 and install The Legend of Zelda: Botw on Cemu 1.12.0.
- Unknown platform - Citra is only supported on 64-bit versions of Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android 8 (Oreo) or above. If you are running one of these, choose one of the options below.
- Since version 3.0.0, QEMU uses a time based version numbering scheme: major incremented by 1 for the first release of the year minor reset to 0 with every major increment, otherwise incremented by 1 for each release from git master.
Download Development Builds
0.5.7.0 - Support patches in v3 graphic packs with Cemu 1.14.0+, allowing profile variables to be used as data constants, and lets packs be activated/deactivated at runtime (even hot-reload of changed patches.txt is possible if you add alwaysReloadPatches=true to Debug section of cemuhook.ini).
Build Statuses:Note that some of these builds are bleeding-edge versions - they may break at any time! Recommended only if you want to try new features, and don't mind occasional bugs.
The Windows build is provided by @alberthdev (MSVC) and @jacobly0 (MinGW). The Linux and Mac builds are provided by @adriweb.- Simply download, extract the ZIP, and run CEmu.exe to get started.
- By popular demand, an 'unofficial' build has been provided by @adriweb, one of the CEmu developers. If this is something you really want to see more of, please let us know here by creating an issue! (If an issue has already been raised, please add your interest to it!)

Select 64-bit or 32-bit.
If your computer is somewhat recent, you can probably pick the 64-bit version.
The 64-bit version is a bit faster on modern computers.
If you tried the 64-bit version and it didn't open, use the 32-bit version instead.
Select Release or Debug.
If you're a regular user, you should almost always pick Release - it's smaller and faster!
If you are a CEmu developer, or a user that is trying to debug a problem with Cemu, pick Debug.
Select Static or Dynamic.
If you're a regular user, you should almost always pick Static. This will give you one EXE to use, no fuss!
If you are a CEmu developer, or a user that is trying to debug a problem with Cemu, pick Dynamic. This contains both the EXE and the required DLLs, and will allow you to change up the DLLs, as necessary.
